With more than 30 years of restaurant industry experience, Cheryl has mastered every aspect of the business—including head waitress, certified master mixologist, manager, director of training, and owner. Cheryl’s great love for people and overwhelming talent for Customer Service combined with her professional talent and experience has ensured her success in every endeavor. Joining TGI Fridays in 1979, Cheryl worked her way up to Team Leader of New Store Openings, responsible for leading the opening teams for more than 50 TGI Fridays nationally and internationally. After holding similar positions with Stanford’s Restaurants and Applebees, Cheryl teamed with husband Ed Casey in 1997 to develop a Baja Fresh Mexican Grill franchise in the Pacific Northwest. Together the Casey’s owned and operated 23 Baja Fresh locations. In 2005 Cheryl co-founded As Good As It Gets Catering.Operating out of excess kitchen space in one of their existing Baja Fresh locations, Ed and Cheryl founded As Good As It Gets Catering, focusing on both corporate events as well as private events. The catering company ramped up quickly and soon outgrew the space they were in. This was the genesis of Cheryl’s On 12th, which was built both to house the catering company and to develop a restaurant concept that is a reflection Ed and Cheryl’s combined experience in the industry. The result is a beautiful space containing a restaurant with a diverse menu of signature dishes and great service! Cheryl and Ed operate the restaurant and catering company personally, come introduce yourselves, they love to meet new guests!
