Pioneered by Cheryl & Ed Casey, Cheryl’s on 12th is a New American restaurant & cafe situated in the heart of downtown Portland. Its beautiful floor to ceiling windows, quaint charm and delicious cuisine make it a hot spot for foodies all around. Cheryl’s features cuisine for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Breakfast is served daily! Get here early to guarantee your seat and complimentary light, fluffy beignets. Cheryl’s on 12th & As Good As It Gets Catering is a combination restaurant and catering company that provides delicious cuisine for dining in, delivery, weddings & events. Meet Our Team

Ed Casey


With 30 years of award-winning and leadership experience in the restaurant industry, Ed has focused his passion for food and restaurant development in the creation of Cheryl’s On 12th. Early in his career, Ed was Vice President of Operations & Food and Beverage for TGI Fridays, which was well known at the time for creative food innovation in the restaurant industry. Ed’s experience in food and beverage along with his business acumen and experience in emerging brands paved the way for his newest role as co-founder and co-owner of Cheryl’s on 12th.

Cheryl Casey


With more than 30 years of restaurant industry experience, Cheryl has mastered every aspect of the business—including head waitress, certified master mixologist, manager, director of training, and owner. This was the genesis of Cheryl’s On 12th, which was built both to house the catering company and to develop a restaurant concept that is a reflection of Ed and Cheryl’s combined experience in the industry. Cheryl and Ed operate the restaurant and catering company personally, come introduce yourselves, they love to meet new guests!
